MEDICAL ON THURSDAY: ARSENAL SETTLE TERMS AS PLAYER TO JET IN AND FINALISE MOVE

Wojciech Szczesny will arrive in Italy on Wednesday to put the finishing touches to a second consecutive loan move to Roma, according to a report.
Sky Italy reporter Gianluca Di Marzio claimed on his website on Monday that Szczesny is set to undergo a medical with the Serie A club on Thursday to finalise the transfer.

This comes after Gazzetta Dello Sport reported last week that Arsenal and the Italian club agreed the terms of a deal for the goalkeeper.
It said that Szczesny will sign initially on loan with the option for Roma to buy him for £13.4million at the end of the season.
There had been reports on Monday that Everton were targeting a late swoop for Szczesny but the transfer of the Gunners shot-stopper to Roma now appears to be done.
The 26-year-old goalkeeper spent the 2015-16 on loan in Italy at Roma, making 34 appearances under both Rudi Garcia and Luciano Spalletti as the club finished third.
Szczesny’s route back into the Arsenal team has been blocked by Petr Cech, with Arsene Wenger expected to stick with the veteran goalkeeper as his number one next season.
The Poland international has publicly stated his desire to rejoin Roma and has praised the coaching of Spalletti’s staff as superior to that of the Arsenal backroom team.
Szczesny, who has been capped 27 times by his country, started out at Legia Warsaw before moving to Arsenal aged 16 and has subsequently made 181 senior appearances under Arsene Wenger.
The former Brentford loanee was included in Poland’s Euro 2016 squad but made only one appearance after falling down the pecking order behind former Arsenal teammate Lukasz Fabianski.
