Mourinho poised to make last-ditch bid for Man City target

Gabriel-Jesus
Manchester United’s summer transfer window has been a hectic one so far, with Mourinho clearly intent on moulding the squad in his image. Now, we could be about to beat local rivals Manchester City to our fourth signing of the summer.
That’s according to today’s Sun newspaper, who say that Manchester United are preparing to gazump Manchester City to the signature of Brazilian sensation, Gabriel Jesus.
His current club Palmeiras are intent on keeping hold if Gabriel Jesus for at least another year, with his contract not running out until 2019. The 19-year-old forward won’t come cheap, though. United’s offer is believed to be around the £29million mark, which is £2.5million more than the current offer on the table by Pep Guardiola.
You feel that this deal is more one for the future than right now – especially due to the fact that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has already made the move to United, and Jesus’ game time would be considerably limited
